Year 2 Mixed Football Event

Congratulations to our Year 2 children who represented the school in mixed football this week. The children behaved beautifully and were commented on for their behaviour. They did us proud and also won the determination award! Can we also say a big thankyou to the parents who came to watch and were great supporters.img_2992 img_2993 img_2996 img_2999 img_3000

Yet more Pie in the Face antics

We are delighted to share with you Class 3s ‘Pie in the Face’ Challenge.

Children in Miss Cubitt’s class last year came up with this idea to draw attention to the plight of Rhinos who are poached for their horns. Please nominate your friends and family to join in and have a go for charity. Any donations to go to the www.poachedrhino.org/giving/

Class 3

Budding green fingers

Class 5 have been busy doing some gardening this week. They have been weeding and planting lots of different types of plants in the area outside of our class already for the summer.

Our final set of Tesco photos

It was the turn of Class 3 to go to Tesco on Friday and what a wonderful time they had!

Whoever thought going to Tesco with 15 children could be such fun!

Look who came to school today!

Our reception and year 1 & 2 children have had an amazing time getting close to the farm animals that visited us in school today.

Class 5 Jack and the Beanstalk

For our food topic Class 5 have been reading Jack and Beanstalk, retelling the story, painting their own giants, researching where food comes from using the laptops and making a vegetable and rice mountain in cooking.

Infant Nativity 2014

Have we got a treat in store for you!
We watched the dress rehearsal of the infant nativity today and I know you are going to be bowled over when you watch it Tuesday or Wednesday Morning. It really is a treat and a beautiful way to start our last week at school.
Please remember that the junior playground will be open for car parking for the Infant Nativity on both mornings and for the carolokie on Wednesday after school.
