Cross – Country at Stubbers

We are very proud of our pupils who took part in the cross country event yesterday at Stubbers.

28 schools took part from across the borough with just under 200 pupils in both races.

Our boys’ team came 15th overall and our girls’ team came 12th so well done to all involved. We are now looking forward to our next race at Pages Wood on December 1st.

It’s not about having fun, It’s about helping others…

It’s not about having fun, It’s about helping others…

This was a quote from one of our Year 6 children which really emphasises how much we are enjoying Children in Need but also how we realise that although we are having fun we’re doing it in order to help others. Another quote we have had is, I enjoyed dressing up for children in need and I’m proud to support it.

Egyptian Excavations

In class 8 we have started our new creative topic of Ancient Egypt. We had the opportunity to become archaeologists and were able to excavate Egyptian artefacts from our own burial site and investigate what they would have been used for.
